Local Race Track Safety Worker Passes Away!

track-worker-mike-niebrzydowski-owosso-537x350We here at MARFC send our thoughts and prayers to the family of Mike Niebrzydowski as this time. Mike was a personal friend of mine and great guy to be with at the races. Mike worked with ARCA Street Stock Champion Jimmy Rae and many others before he made the move to track safety personal. He work at many different tracks in the Michigan area as well as working for Motor City Racing Promotions. Mike was involved in an accident at a speedway while working a routine track clean up session. Mike will truly be missed by his family and his extended racing family and those who he touched in life. As Mike as taken his final checkered flag in life he receives the green flag into heavens gates and stands near the throne of the Lord now and forever. “God’s Speed Mike” (Photo from a face book friend)

Report on Tri-City Motor Speedway for 2016!

tricityweb1A very hot but, no rain evening at the Tri-City Motor Speedway for our annual event. With 106 cars in the pit area made an outstanding night of racing for all race fans. Late Model # 24 driver Alex Hupert was awarded our MARFC UNIFORM/HELMBET BAG. Alex has had a tough year this year and continues to keep coming back. Pam Spearling was our MARFC raffle winner for the night. Again many thanks to Steve and Erica Puvalowski for working to reschedule this event for 2016!
