A very hot but, no rain evening at the Tri-City Motor Speedway for our annual event. With 106 cars in the pit area made an outstanding night of racing for all race fans. Late Model # 24 driver Alex Hupert was awarded our MARFC UNIFORM/HELMBET BAG. Alex has had a tough year this year and continues to keep coming back. Pam Spearling was our MARFC raffle winner for the night. Again many thanks to Steve and Erica Puvalowski for working to reschedule this event for 2016! Very sad to say that Mother Nature has won once again and our fan club night at the I-96 Speedway had to be cancelled. With not much time for a rescheduled date to be set we were not able to do it for 2016 but we will be returning to the speedway for 2017. We would like to thank Mike Mouch for working hard to have us back this season.
We here at MARFC are very saddened by the news of the passing of such a very young and talented racer Bryan Clauson. We send our thoughts and prayers to his family & race team at this time. “May God Bless and Keep You All! (Photo courtesy of ARCA)
Fantastic night for racing weather was great and fans had a grand time at the Silver Bullet Speedway. It was Junior Racers Night at the speedway and Danial Nickerson was chosen to help MARFC present our bag that evening to current Michigan Pro Stock # 01 driver Randy Radabaugh was chosen to receive our MARFC/UNIFORM HELMET BAG for the evening. Club member Vere Jacobs was the winner of our MARFC members raffle. We thank Nick & Matt Hoonhout and the staff at Silver Bullet for a fun night and we will return again 2017!
