Waterford Hills Raceway Welcomes MARFC in 2021!

Update provided by PR Director Rand Thompson! Great day at Waterford Hills Vintage Road Racing today.  The staff and racers were very friendly and accommodating, the track looked spectacular, and the weather was outstanding. Present from the MARFC Board were John Jackson, David Howe, Nancy May, and Rand Thompson. The MARFC Uniform/helmet bag was awarded to Garett Dunn from Commerce Township, Mich. who was racing a 1973 Corvette owned by Tim Morgan. Very cool car and Garret drove it to perfection.  Interestingly, Tim was a former driver in Tri Sac Supermodifieds. The Dunn family has been a part of Waterford Hills since the track was built in 1958. Garret’s grandfather was one of the founding members of the track and his dad was a fixture in the pits for decades providing welding services to the competitors. Sadly, both passed away in the last year or so. Garret was very appreciative of the bag and thanked us all for it. Thanks to the folks at Waterford Hills for again hosting our MARFC event.
