MARFC Returns to the Dirt at Silver Bullet Speedway in 2021!

Beautiful night then Mother Nature stepped in to slow the night down with more than an hour delay in the program. Modified #50 driver Chad Bennett was presented out MARFC/Uniform Helmet Bag. It was a tough night for Chad and his family as his 14-year-old son Austin earlier in the week was involved in an accident and is now paralyzed from the waist down and is being sent to Grand Rapids for further treatment. It was Austin who told his dad & Brother Chad Jr. to go racing as he didn’t want to be the reason for them missing any racing. One strong willed boy there and he as already said he will walk again. What confidence this young man has. Our prayers are with the Bennett family. MARFC raffle winner was Harold Sampier, and our table volunteers were David Howe, Spencer Nelson and myself. Many thanks to Matt Hoonhout and the Silver Bullet Speedway staff for having us back this season. The Speedway was also presented with 2020 Promoter of the Year Award the only award that was voted on for our banquet back in October of 2020 before we had to cancel it due to COVID-19.
