MARFC Looses Another Longtime Member!

Once again, we here at MARFC are saddened by the news of the passing of one of our longtime members. Mary Darling mother of MSTRC founder Chuck Darling passed away last week. Mary was a strong supporter of racing for many years and helped Chuck in learning the love of racing he is so passionate about now. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Darling family at this time. As requested by Mom Darling no services are to be held but, a memorial night of racing at a track later this summer she will be honored then. “Rest Easy Dear Mary”

Motorsports Looses a Great Ambassador for Our Sport!

Once again MARFC is saddened by the news of the passing of longtime friend to our club. Ron Watson, founder & president of the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America (MSHFA), formerly located in Novi, Mi. and then moved to Daytona International Speedway died at the age of 72. Ron was a great friend and many times spoke at our general meetings about MSHFA. He was also gracious on a couple of occasions to let our club members host a private tour of the hall and hold meetings at the facility. The racing world has lost an outstanding ambassador for our sport. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Ron’s family a MSHFA friends. Rest Well My Friend Until We Meet Again!
