November General Meeting!

November 10, 2012 @ Papio’s Food & Spirits, 2280 S. Reese Rd., Reese, Mi. 48757. This will be a Saturday afternoon meeting and will be getting the green flag at 2 PM. Our speakers are Jim Lamb who races at the Waterford Hills Race Track. Jim races a very Can-Am looking machine on the 2 ½ mile road course and is the director of competition at Waterford as well. His initial background in racing is drag racing but somehow He got the bug to start turning right and left and has done very well at Waterford. Our other scheduled speaker at this time is Dave Hausbeck, owner/promoter of the Arthur Speedway in Reese. We are presently working on more speakers as we go to print so if you don’t attend, you won’t know who we had.  The food at Papio’s is phenomenal and this will be our third visit to this great establishment as we were there a year ago and then again last April, bring your appetite and follow the directions included in this newsletter. Take I-75 from the north or south to exit 151 (M-81 E). Take M-81 east 9.3 miles to S. Reese Rd. and turn right (South) to 2280 Reese Rd. Board Member Dennis Trinklien has set up this meeting. Food and beverage will be available for purchase. Thanks Denny for pulling this together for our folks up in the Saginaw/Midland area.
