We here at MARFC are saddened by the news of the passing of another longtime member. Donald Gordon passed away on Sunday December 14th after a long illness. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Lucille and son Rob and the entire Gordon family at this time. May the Lord Bless and Keep them in his care now and always! No services will be held as the family wishes to keep them private! Just keep them in your prayers!

A great time was by all young & old as the MARFC Annual Children’s Christmas Party was held. The children had lunch and then were entertained by “DA” the clown with balloons and a magic show. Then the big man in the red suit arrived after everyone sang him in with a rousting version of Jingle Bells. Santa asked each child what they wanted for Christmas and encouraged them to keep doing well in school. Then they were given a new toy from Santa’s Elf’s. 
Everyone even won a door prize to boot! Many thanks to all who helped donated to this event and Special thanks to Jimmy Gullett for donating all the food and to the Lee & Whisman families for the extra goodies. I was just informed today that we have lost another longtime supporter and member of our club Wally Serylo. Wally passed away on November 14, 2014 after a long illness. I first meet Wally back in the day at the Flat Rock Speedway when he was racing his figure “8” car. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Serylo family at this time. “God’s Speed Old Friend”
