We here at MARFC are saddened by the news of the Passing of the Father of our Vice President Dave DeHem! Our thoughts and prayers are with the Dave & the DeHem family at this time. Services for Mr. DeHem have not been finalized yet and will be posted at a later time. May God Bless and Keep the DeHem family now and always!

Arrangements for Dan DeHem:
Dave’s Dads service is 10am this Saturday at the Nativity of our Lord Catholic Church located at 5900 McLellan, Detroit, Mi. with a luncheon at the church after the service. Church is basically located at Gratiot and I-94 as McLellan is right off of Gratiot after you pass back over the freeway. You turn left on McLellan to the church. (you can see the church as you drive to it as the steeple is kind of tall.)
Our MARFC event that was rescheduled for August 24th because of rain went on without any problems. Board member Bill Walters and his brother Richard made the trek back to the Merritt Speedway for the second time to see some outstanding dirt car racing. Our MARFC Uniform/ Helmet Bag was presented to Pro Stock driver # 55 Bob Timmer. Bob has gone from having bad luck with 5 blown engines this year and still was able to come back and finish 5th in points. Our MARFC members raffle was won by Barb Fuzi who donated it back to the club. Thanks Barb for your support!
