High temps and strong winds made it a very interesting night on the dirt at the Crystal Motor Speedway for our annual trek to see some great dirt car racing. The MARFC/Uniform Helmet Bag was given to the # 87 Pro Truck driver Robert Putt for his return to racing after such a bad season last year that sidelined him for quite a while. Gene Hurd was our MARFC raffle winner for the evening. Many Thanks to Ron Flinn and all his staff at Crystal for having us back again and thanks the “Shut Up” Roger, “The Chief” Leo Pego and Trevor Hollis for all the great PR during the night. Table helpers for the night were Bill Walters, Barry Meschke, Doug Jakeway, John Jackson and myself. Another night of great weather for MARFC members who attended our event at the Kalamazoo Speedway. Our MARFC/ Uniform Helmet Bag was presented to Pat Harris for all her continued support of the speedway for many years. Stanley Town was our MARFC members raffle prize winner for the night and special thanks to Doug Jakeway & John Jackson for working our table for the evening. Thanks again to Gary & Donna Howe and the folks at Kalamazoo for a great night.
