Our meeting on Saturday November 15, 2014 at the JD Racing Indoor Karting facility was on outstanding event. First up was our featured guest speaker Scott Menlen promotor of the Mid-West Indoor Racing Seris. Scott spoke about the up coming seasons first event in Battle Creek on Thanksgiving weekend and told everyone on what it takes to make an indoor event happen from scheduling the event, buliding a race track indoors, getting the racers and fans to come then having to take it all down after and the onto the next event. The driver and two time ARCA Enduro Champion Jeff Metdepenningen talked about his past season being able to race side by side with his sons. Jeff also gave us some insight about his family’s back ground in racing and is looking forward to seeing his grandson carry on the family tradition someday in the future. Then the racing was on! We had three MARFC heat races with lots of action in all three. All of the talk before hand on who was going to beat who but, when the green flag dropped talk was over.
