We here at MARFC are very saddened by the news of the passing of a veteran driver Jack Varney Sr. He was one of the many Varney’s who raced at the Mt. Clemens Race Track for many years and continued to support his son Jack Jr. in all his racing venues. Jack was one great story teller and always had the time to shake your hand and say Hi! He will truly be missed by all who knew him. Our Thoughts & Prayers are with the entire Varney Family at this time. Services for Jack are as follows: Funeral services will be held at 7PM on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 1PM until 8PM and on Tuesday from 2PM until the time of service at 7PM. Contributions may be made to the family.
